Refunds & Returns Policy

At Building Stories, we take great care in researching and creating bespoke historical portraits of residences across the UK. Each commission is individually tailored and our refund policy is as follows:

Corrections & Reprints

  • If your print arrives with an error in the written history (e.g., typos or factual inaccuracies that can be verified against our sources), we will correct the text and provide a reprint at our expense.
  • If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos of the issue, and we will arrange a replacement.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Due to the bespoke nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or returns based on personal preference or subjective opinions about the content—whether written or visual.
  • The research and artwork are conducted with professional diligence, and the final product is a result of our expertise in historical research and artistic interpretation.

Cancellations

  • As work begins on your commission shortly after purchase, cancellations can only be accepted within 24 hours of placing your order.

If you have any concerns about your order, please reach out to us at buildingstoriesuk@gmail.com and we will do our best to assist you.
